22 Feb Let’s fight cellulite… by sleeping!
Sleeping is a fundamental activity for general health, but did you know that it can also help fight cellulite blemishes?
It may sound like one of those “click catcher” titles but it’s all true! One might think the opposite, i.e. that getting little sleep (thus increasing waking hours) could help to lose weight and, consequently, improve the condition of cellulite… in reality, it is exactly the opposite: lack of sleep can cause a malfunction of our biological clock, leading to a slowdown in metabolism and possible weight gain.
This is the conclusion reached by some researchers in the USA who have demonstrated a close relationship between sleep and a tendency to gain weight… (and we well know how much the latter is one of the main risk factors for the onset of cellulite).
Furthermore, the study results showed that getting enough sleep, with good sleep hygiene, can even help burn calories.
It is very important to implement a series of actions capable of reconciling a good sleep: for example a nice hot bath, followed by a massage with a good anti-cellulite cream.
In general, we should try to sleep at least 7-8 hours a night to maintain a good metabolic balance (and good general health).
Balanced nutrition and exercise are two other factors that can help improve sleep quality. In summary, sleeping is good for your health, for your figure, and… unexpectedly, it also helps to counteract cellulite blemishes!
With contact thermography, you can discover the true condition of your cellulite and plan a personalized treatment with your trusted beauty center.
Imagine being able to “see” inside your body, without any pain or contraindications, the condition of the subcutaneous tissues to classify cellulite: it is possible using contact thermography!
This special technology uses liquid crystal thermographic plates, placed on the area to be analyzed, to show a high-resolution color image that reflects the condition of the underlying tissues: in a few seconds, it will be possible to classify cellulite in one of its stages: oedematous, fibrous or sclerotic.
Furthermore, contact thermography can also be used to analyze localized fat deposits and to keep track of all the progress achieved, treatment after treatment.
The thermographic analysis is not only useful for this, but it is also perfect from a preventive perspective, as it allows you to detect the presence of cellulite even when it is not yet visible to the naked eye or palpable.
