How much does a cellulite treatment cost?

As we know, cellulite is nothing more than a multifactorial disorder characterized by an annoying orange peel skin blemish that is concentrated on the glutes and thigh areas.

We are talking about a problem that affects the majority of women (over 80%) and that sees numerous figures involved in its treatment: from medical / aesthetic research to wellness professionals such as nutritionists, doctors and beauty centers.

To fight against it we can implement various approaches: food, lifestyle, cosmetic treatments, aesthetic treatments or medical aesthetic treatments but all should always start from the key point, its correct analysis that will allow us to choose the right path for our specific case.

This type of analysis can be done through contact thermography, a technology based on the use of liquid crystal plates which, once placed on the area to be analyzed, will reflect a high resolution color image of the condition of the underlying tissues allowing to classify the condition of cellulite as edematous, fibrous or sclerotic.

We are talking about an exam with no contraindications, which is why it can be performed by anyone and can be repeated over time: it is not painful and does not require special preparations.

Once the starting condition has been identified, the professional will be able to indicate the type of route most suitable for our case.

But what are the costs of the main treatments?

This is one of the first questions we ask ourselves when we decide to take matters into our own hands: the answer is very varied and undoubtedly depends on the starting point.

If, for example, we are in the very early stages, some cosmetic treatment combined with a nutritional plan drawn up in collaboration with a good nutritionist might be enough: in this case we are talking about average prices between 20 and 40 euros for cosmetic products and between 60 and 150 for a first nutritional visit.

If, however, the condition is more marked and has consolidated over time, we will have to opt for aesthetic treatments such as cavitation or radiofrequency with a price that can vary from 150 to 500 euros per session, depending on the area to be treated.

Medical treatments, on the other hand, being more invasive, certainly require a higher economic effort but, at the same time, promise results that cannot be achieved only with the previous steps.

In this case, you can start from 150-200 euros per session, for the most common treatments, up to thousands of euros in the case of real interventions (for example liposuction or liposculpture).

These prices are indicative but can give you an idea of the type of outlay that can be met: for this reason it is always better to act in a preventive perspective (also in this case, contact thermography can be of great help as it can detect the very first stages of cellulite when still not visible to the naked eye or detectable on palpation, in order to act promptly and block it in the bud).
