    10 tips to eliminate cellulite

Every woman’s dream? Getting to the dreaded swimsuit test without a trace of cellulite.

But how to fight this terrible blemish?

Cellulite is an annoying accumulation of fat that manifests itself through the appearance of small dimples on the skin of the hips, thighs and buttocks. Obviously this is not a serious condition, but cellulite, especially when neglected, can be ugly to look at, can make you feel uncomfortable when wearing shorts or a bathing suit, and can create pain and discomfort in the legs.

To best fight cellulite it is important to follow a few small tips:

    • Avoid crossing the legs for long periods, as this position makes circulation more difficult by compression of the vessels.
    • Avoid, if possible, spending too much time standing still, as gravity makes it more difficult for venous return to the heart.
    • Avoid clothes and shoes that are too tight, which impair circulation; the exception is graduated compression stockings, which instead represent a concrete and effective help.
    • Avoid or reduce the use of high heels.
    • Stop smoking.
    • Reduce alcohol.
    • Reduce stress.
    • Combat constipation with supplements and proper nutrition.
    • Always do gym exercises while maintaining a healthy and active lifestyle.
    • Make sure you always have a healthy diet that is high in fruits and vegetables and low in sodium.

To better eradicate the problem, in addition to following the advice just provided, it is important to always have a clear picture about the condition of cellulite, which is why it is essential to carry out an analysis using contact thermography, a non-invasive examination based on use of microencapsulated liquid crystal plates: just place the plate on the body to detect the skin temperature (which reflects what happens in the underlying tissues) and therefore highlight, through high resolution color images, the presence or absence of the typical signs of cellulite and identify at what stage it is: edematous, fibrous, sclerotic.

Furthermore, contact thermography allows to detect the presence of cellulite even when it is not yet visible to the naked eye or detectable on palpation in order to act in a preventive perspective. Being an analysis totally free of side effects and contraindications, it can be repeated several times over time in order to evaluate and track the progress of the treatment.

The system for interpreting thermographic images of cellulite is protected by an international patent owned by IPS, guaranteeing a unique and scientifically based system.
